We cannot keep temperature of our Jackson Tempstar dishwasher at a constant temp. One time the rinse will be down a bit and then the wash. We have replaced the gauges, thermostats, motor and element of the diswasher. It is kept constantly clean, and we have tried everything we can think of. Would there be a wire that could be coming loose every once in awhile that may cause this? Thank you for any help you can give us.

SOURCE: bEEBING CONSTANTLY ADG7460 WHIRLPOOL NOT DRAINING

This dishwasher being only seven weeks old I suggest you contact the store where you bought this unit and tell them to book a service call and send a technition out to solve this, the reason I am suggesting this is that the unit is under guarentee and if you try to repair it will void any guarentee or warrentee that is on the machine. If you do work on it and something big and expensive goes wrong the store(manufacturer) will not honor there guarentee when they see that you worked on it so better to be safe than sorry. If you do not come right with them let me know and we can see what we can do from there.

SOURCE: Flashing Power Failure Light on Frigidaire Diswasher Model # FD989GFC2

I have a Frigidaire that does the same thing. I was able to push the start cancel button then select a cycle and press the start button, shut the door and presto it worked.

When I turn on my Jackson Delta 5 it says that it is heating water, and that is all it will do. It will set like that until I disconnect the thermostat wire and plug it back in. Then it will continue the...

THIS could be your huckleberry! It is item 3 of suspects...
Also note ITEM 7, "heater delay relay"?

Disconnecting and reconnecting MAY be resetting that relay!?

ALSO BE VERY AWARE OF THIS:

BEFORE the heater element can be energized, the rinse
booster heater MUST be initially filled with water. Damage to
the heater element will occur if the element is not submerged
in water!

Tempstar Door model keeps overfilling

The sensor is a plastic pipe (vacume) / and a ajustable switch. The rise in water causes the air pressure in the pipe to increase and at the set level this stops the water inlet valve. You could disconnect the pipe and blow into it slowly and should hear the switch click. Most faults are the plastic sensor pipe blocked / obstructed and or the switch terminals (inside switch) burnt. This means that the switch must be replaced and should be set for the correct water inlet.
