Hotpoint aquarius wml760 noisey when spinning with stuff in but ok empty

more than likely the rear bearing has gone bad and when a load is applied the difference in weight distribution causes the knocking.

Hotpoint fault?

Check the drain and circulation hoses for partial blockages as usually this causes such problems. Also make sure you using program with full speed spin cycle (solid spiral sign just before the dot pointing the end of chosen programme)

Started having a noisy rinse & spin cycle, then stopped.

Open the washer door and spin the drum by hand, if it feels rough or noisy and rumbling, then the main drum bearings have failed. There should be little or no noise when you spin drum
This is a major repair, and I would not recommend a D.I.Y solution.
Other possibility is there is something in the pump, but you would only hear this when the pump is working.

Plz rate my comments.
Thanks.
