You first need a CAT 5 cable to go to where your internet connection is, such as a modem or another router to your hub. Then you plug another CAT 5 from the hub to your PC. You need to feed internet to the hub then your pc will recieve a connection from the hub. And of course the hub does need power. Hope that's what you were asking.
Look at the USB ports, this sometimes can be a problem with a grounded USB port (2 or more of the USB pins in the port touching each other) sometimes this can happen with USB ports when an item is put in the wrong way round. If no joy then this can also be a problem when the internal CPU heat block has too much pressure on the CPU.
Hi.
Well you didn tell what kind of keyboard are you using. Is it a USB or a wireless. I am assuming that it is a USB keyboard.
1st of all check whether the key board is properly plugged in2 your machine properly, check for loose connections.
Check whether you have plugged it into the correct port, because usually the the internet keyboard do not adapt to the USB port, and a PS/2 to US adapter port wont work.
Download and install the latest Keyboard Software
Before installing the new driver dont forget to uninstall the previous one, install the new one and reboot.
try this: plug in the USB key & check for the green light. Then go to start, control panel, & double click mouse (with whatever mouse works). Check the hardware tab and see it the computer is recognizing that the mouse is there. If it is there, it should be working fine. If not, then perhaps you need to reinstall the USB port drivers. Sometimes this will happen when you've upgraded from 1.0 to 2.0 USB ports.
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer. The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use Nikon Transfer or any other photo cataloging program.
