How can i download music to my ipod touch without

Unfortunately Apple products are very proprietary, and Apple works very hard to keep people from using other software. I've seen several programs that you can purchase from places like Best Buy that replace the iTunes music software, but using that software will leave you unable to sync any applications or software updates. Good luck!

How to dolad games

  1. Update your iPod Software to at least 3.xx version
This is important as lower version of the software would not allow you to download any applications. You can do so from iTunes. Once you connect your iPod Touch or iPhone to the computer and start iTunes, it will tell you if there is a newer version of the software to upgrade. Just follow the instructions.
  2. Step 2 ** Restart your iPod/iPhone
This step is just to reboot your iPod system to make sure the new software is in effect.
  3. Step 3 ** Download applications aka games
Make sure your iPhone/iPod Touch is connected to the internet. On your iPod touch/iPhone home page, there will now be a link labeled: 'Apps store'. Select that link. Now, you are free to browse the many applications and games that iTunes has to offer. Some games are free while others may require you to pay. .
  4. Step 4 **Install the application aka game
Once you have selected a game to install, tap the box that says, "free" in the right hand corner. It will then read, "Install". Tap the box again. Now, wait for the application to install on your home page.

How to sync .ipa files from comp to iphone thru itunes ?

when you sync the iPhone with the computer, iTunes will only add what is new, it will not delete your apps.

Setting Up Syncing You use iTunes on your computer to set up which items are synced. Make sure you have the most recent version of iTunes (On a PC, open iTunes and choose Help > Check for Updates. On a Mac, open iTunes and choose iTunes > Check for Updates.
Step 1: Connect iPhone or iPod touch
  1. Connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer using the included cable. You can connect the cable from your computer directly to iPhone or iPod touch, or connect the cable from your computer to the Apple Universal Dock (available separately) and put iPhone or iPod touch in the dock. By default, iTunes opens automatically.
  2. Select iPhone or iPod touch in iTunes under Devices on the left hand side and click the Info tab.
Step 2: Set Up Which Items Are Synced Click the respective tabs in iTunes to specify which media and information you want synced from your computer to iPhone or iPod touch.
For more information about syncing iPhone with your computer see the iPhone User's Guide:
On your computer: click here to download and view "Chapter 1: Getting Started" in iPhone User Guide.
On iPhone: Tap Safari and view http://help.apple.com/iphone/guide/.
For more information about syncing iPod touch with your computer:
On your computer, click here to download and view "Chapter 1: Getting Started" in iPod touch User Guide.
On iPod touch: Tap Safari and view http://help.apple.com/ipodtouch/guide/.

Step 3: Sync iPhone or iPod touch Click Apply in the lower-right corner of the screen. Your computer syncs with iPhone or iPod touch according to your settings.
The first time you sync iPhone or iPod touch, you are asked if you want to merge data, replace data on the service, or replace the data on your computer. After that, anytime you connect iPhone or iPod touch to your computer, iTunes opens and syncs with iPhone or iPod touch according to your settings.
You can adjust sync settings anytime iPhone or iPod touch is connected to your computer. You can only connect and sync with one iPhone or iPod touch at the same time. If you need to sync more than one iPhone or iPod touch, disconnect one before connecting the other.
Note: Syncing won't delete any contact in Yahoo! Address Book that contains a Messenger ID, even if you've deleted the contact from your address book on iPhone or your computer. To delete a contact containing a Messenger ID, log in to your Yahoo! account online and delete the contact using Yahoo! Address Book.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

I cannot transfer mp4 movies to my Ipod Touch

Well, there are several problems that could be happening:
1. You can make sure you converted it right by converting it through software such as Handbrake (Google it)
2. Make sure that your computer that you are trying to get the video from is the computer that you normally sync with. You cannot get video or music from any other computer except for the one you sync with.
3. Either turn off "automatically sync my iPod with this computer" or import the movie into iTunes first and then transfer it

I have an iphone I downloaded the ants application which seems to have closed the phone down completely I cant get to restore

Products Affected iPhone, iPod touch
Symptoms that may have occurred with an unsuccessful restore may include a frozen screen—either at the Apple logo or some other application—or the device may repeatedly reset.
  1. Verify you have iTunes 7.5 or later. Apple recommends using the latest version of iTunes.
  2. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone or iPod touch.
  3. Power off the device (Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the the iPhone or iPod touch to turn off.
  4. Press and hold the Home button while reconnecting USB cable. When you reconnect USB, the device should then power on.

Note: If you see the message "Charging... Please Wait" or you see the screen pictured below, let the device charge for at least 10 minutes to ensure the battery has some charge and then start with step 2 again. ht1808_01.jpg
  5. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo.
  6. When you see "Connect to iTunes" on the screen, you can release the Home button and iTunes will display the recovery mode message: ht1808_02.jpgIf you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, then disconnect the USB cable from iPhone and repeat steps 3-6.
Because you must restore iPhone or iPod touch, iTunes will not recover data from the device, but if it was previously synced on the same computer and the same user account, it should restore a backup (if available). See document 305744, "Updating and Restoring iPhone Software."
If you are still unable to restore the iPhone using this method, check Apple support for further troubleshooting and/or service options.
Note: If you sync both an iPhone and an iPod touch to the same computer, make sure you select the correct backup to restore your settings from (don't select an iPhone backup if you have an iPod touch and don't select an iPod touch backup if you have an iPhone).
