- Select Yes, and press the OK button to print alignment sheet.
- Check the pattern is printed correctly, select Yes and press OK button.

4. Adjust the print head position.
- Check the printed patterns, and use the (Left) or (Right) button to select the number of the pattern that has the least noticeable streaks for column A.

(C) Less noticeable horizontal white streaks
(D) Noticeable horizontal white streaks
- Repeat the same procedure to input the pattern number for each column from B to L, then press the OK button.

Put new black canon 3-e ink in canon Pixma ip 5000 black line of print have a white horizontal stripe through center. I don't seem to have a repair utility t o clean heads and align. Mac OS 10.4.11

The clean heads option should be in the Preferences/Maintenance tab where you go to do other things, e.g. alignment, ink counter reset, etc. If you cannot see this, you mmay need to reinstall the driver for the printer. You could also ask Canon. Finally, if the catridge is a refill or compatible, try a genuine Canon black cartridge.

Canon Pixma MP130 printing lines through pictures etc

I'd say it's probably the printer driver. Uninstal and reinstal it or update it. Printer drivers are a comon cause of printing faults.

Horizontal lines through my printed photos

Are you sure your ink is not on the verge of finishing? Try changing the colour ink and print again. Sometimes I take the cartridge out, shake the ink down just in the same flashing motion as I do my pen, then replace it. You may try that.
