Hi I just brought a brand new dishwasher Frigidaire 24" tall tub built-in dishwasher Model FDBB4365FC. It is making high pitch squeaky noise whenever I open the door. Would anyone be able to help? Thanks
We had a similar problem so after pulling out the D/W a few feet, applied candle wax on the rubbing metal parts as well as the tension strings and the noise disappeared!

We just had our dishwasher serviced for this symptom. It turned out that the left spring was rubbing on the plywood enclosure. Felt silly for not figuring this out myself. Hope this helps someone else.We just had our dishwasher serviced for this symptom. It turned out that the left spring was rubbing on the plywood enclosure. The door hinge spring tension is rubbing .Pull the D/W out atleast 2 feet and open and close the door while looking for the rubbing problem. Please rate this !

You may need to slide the dishwasher out slightly. On both sides at the floor level are the door springs, pulley, and cables. The cable is usually attached to the door hinge--then goes around the pulley wheel and goes back to the spring system. Most noise comes from the hinge pivot point or the pulley axle. You can spray all those parts with something like WD40 or if you don't like that smell try a silicone spray. Do both sides and work the door up and down.
reset the dishwasher.. turn off breaker for 5 minutes, turn back on,
then press: with door open
high temp wash
energy save wash
high temp wash
energy save wash
close door
then press cancel
then press normal wash. This should reset it. good luck
The latch on many dishwashers is adjustable. If your door is easy to close but difficult to latch, adjust the latch to let the door close more easily. If you can't see any way to adjust the latch, yours may be fixed in a certain position. Check for other reasons for the latching problem.
If the latch has worn out in a way that makes it impossible for you to close the door properly, you probably need to replace the latch.
Your dishwasher has two springs that counterbalance the weight of the door. If either or both of these are broken, the door feels quite heavy and you need to replace both springs.

As motor bearings wear out, they can become quite loud when the motor runs. They wear out quickly if they frequently get wet, because the water washes away the motor bearing grease. Bearings can get wet if the spin seal is defective. Then there will also be water leaking onto the floor beneath the dishwasher. Replace the seal if it leaks (read about the main tub seal in the "It leaks" section, later). If, from beneath the dishwasher, you can see a round, plastic disc that's mounted to the top of the motor (a "slinger"), it may have broken free of the motor shaft. If so, it could be rattling around the shaft while the motor is running. If that's the problem, you need to replace the motor.
If the heater fan bearings are rusted or worn, they may squeal, or scrape loudly during the drying cycle. If this is the problem, replace the fan motor. Alternatively, the fan blade may be loose. If so, you need to replace it.
The nomenclature should be located on the left side on the inside of the tub right by the front when you open the door. It is most likely an fdb series example fdb1050. however the drain hose pn 154606701 is the factory replacement for most frigidaire dishwashers ten years or less.
110,,15 amp breaker by it self...stainless braid fill quick connection,,try not to use copper...back legs down front up to counter...and your washing,,,dont foreget jet dry..and bleach unit out every three months..onthejob
You are not getting enough water or you are losing the water during wash cycle. Is you dishwasher new or older? How is it plumbed in? If it is plumbed through the floor you will have to put and air gap in to keep the water in it. All tall tub dishwasher have to be plumbed properly.
