I need to replace the fuel pump on 1988 Topaz 4 door. I have lost my manual. Any instructions?

I don't know if your fuel injected or carb? If your fuel injected, probably electric fuel pump, in the gas tank. If not fuel injected, probably a mechanical fuel pump, under the hood, note picture.

if it only stalls hot relace the ign module on distributor

there is a fuel pump turn off switch installed on ford. when you lost the tread this was activated. the location will be noted in your owners manual if you have one. usually installed in the rear (trunk area) or front of car drivers side near fuse panel, or passenger side it is a little red button, all you have to do is push it in to reset the switch.

it's on the back of the flywheel. Remove air cleaner cover so you can see it. May have t remove plug on bell housing.
