    3. Switch Off Player and Unplug from mains - wait 30 seconds (this clears RAM)
    4. Reconnect to mains
    5. Turn on player with remote.
    6. Press ENTER on remote.

Hi,

Most of the known "region free codes/hacks" are for stand alone DVD players. To my knowledge Samsung's (and for that matter most of the other brands) Home Theater Systems would "borrow" any one of their standalone players and use the engine/assembly as an integral part of the Home Theater System. Having said this then it would be necessary to know the original model number of the DVD engine player to be able to figure out the codes/hack. Additionally, most of the codes/hacks require the remote of the stand alone DVD player and not the remote of the Home Theater System.

Based on all of the above, perhaps your best bet would be to try all the known code/shacks (shotgun approach) But then again, the next problem is one can never be sure when it does not work since it could probably be due to the remote being used.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.

Multi region player

DVD players come out of the factory region locked. You can either buy an player that does not have a set region (you can only get these online) or you can unlock the DVD player on a computer using software.
