With a Windows 7 operating system, what product can I find that would be comparable to the old Print Artist 8 Grande Suite? Has Nova come up with anything to compare (I've gotten more recent versions and am not impressed) or have other companies done better in matching this much beloved suite? Compatability is now an issue also. I just need names I can use for comparisons. Is Print Artist Platinum 23 similar enough in ease of use? Thanks for considering this. Joan V.

It says it works with Windows 10. but make sure you have the latest version 25.

Unlimiting the registry size could work:
Here are the steps:
1) Type REGEDIT in run

2) Navigate accurately to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control

3) On the right pane, locate the following
Key: RegistrySizeLimit [Type: REG_DWORD]

4) Double-click on it.

5) On the dialog box, select DECIMAL radio-button

6) Erase the previous and enter the following number:
4294967295

7) Again select, HEXADECIMAL radio-button

8) Click okay and restart computer

9) Everything will be okay, ENJOY! try to install the package again.

Did you get the win 7 version, if so the disc may be faulty . get the vendor to check it

If a program cannot be run under Windows 7 because of compatibility issues you have to right click on the executable file that will start the application and click Properties.

Select Compatibility tab and select the Windows XP version.

This should work but if it doesn't there is nothing you can do except complain to Sierra to make a fix for it.

This simply means that your Print Artist program is no longer compatible with Windows 7. Some of the support files that used to work with XP is no longer recognized in Windows 7.

One way to resolve this is to contact or visit Print Artist's developer's website and search or ask for any windows 7 support or patches for your version 4.0
