When I turn on my 323B, there is a loud buzzing coming from the tv's speakers that won't go away. Currently I have the sound going to another device but I can still hear that annoying sound from the tv. Muting solves the problem but the word "muting" stays on the screen. My question is: Is there a way to disconnect the speakers internally, I don't need them...please help!
Speaker Hum. Removed back, unplugged speaker connection. Ran an earphone connection to my DVD, selected speaker output to receive earphone output. No hum, I still have to turn on my DVD and select audio input to watch TV, but a whole lot cheaper than a repair.
Or you can cut off the end of some old headphones and plug it into the side headphone jack. works for me.
Hi.
If your happy to remove the back casing of the the TV set.
Lay set face down on table with several towells laid out flat under it.
Undo all screws holding back on & lift it off you may need to remove tv stand to remove back.
Once back is off either locate speakers & unplug the leads from them remember to insulate the loose wires & tie them up out of the way.
Or trace wires from speakers to there plugs & sockets on main Pcb & unplug them & thats it.
Screw rear of set back on & ensure volume is set low or at zero.

I have a Polaroid FLM-323B HD TV that has a loud whine or feedback sound coming from the speakers. When it first started, it would go away after a while, so it was a livable issue. Now it is constant.
I've tried to run the sound through my stereo and that amplifies the problem. I've also plugged a pair of headphones into the side and the problem goes to the headphones as well.
Any suggestions ???
