First of all, make sure that you're inserting the approved type of memory card.
According to nokia company, nokia N70 supports for RS-DV-MMC cards.

If you're using the correct card, make sure the card is clean enough. You can clean the card by using a soft dry cloath like cotton cloth-DO NOT USE ANY LIQUID-.
After doing so,re-insert the card and check.

If the above step doesn't helps, insert the cleaned memory card into a card reader and check whether the computer can open the card.If it can, backup all the data on the memory card and format the card. Then insert the card into the phone and do a format to the card againg via phone. After that you can restore the data back to the memory card.

If all the above methods didn't work, then may be your memory card is burned out..

My phone wont read my memory card

dear, Memory cards dont work in 3 cases.
1. You must be putting a memory card over the limit of your mobile.
that is if your mobile only supports 2gb card, then you must be inserting 4gb card then obiusly that will not work.

2. You must be inserting a broken or cracked memory card.it will definitily dont work. Throw it!

3. You must be inserting a currupt memory card, try formatting it in some computer, if still it dont work then it is useless. Throw your card.

memory card carry only these 3 problems, if non of those work then i am sorry!

regards!

Memory card is not working...

Hi,

You should not use the memory card from other mobile to motorola. When you insert the memory card two folders will be created automatically (Sounds and images) You have to put the songs and images in the relevant folder, then only you can access. Otherwise it will display that you don't have files in the memory card.
Take a copy of all the songs and images to your pc.
Then follow these following steps
1. Format the memory card.
2. Insert the memory card to motorola
3. Transfer the files and folders to the folder(Automatically created folder)
4. Safely remove hardware

Now you can enjoy music.

Cheers...!

Nokia 5300 mobile not reading memory card, though it works fine on other mobile and PC

Try to format your memory card on a pc. after formatting, try putting some songs or any other data on the card from PC and then insert it on to ur mobile phone.
If is still does not work on mobile then you need to contact Nokia as the card is working fine.
