I have a Mtx TC 6001 Apms and i have 2 mtx subs 12 in
When i put the ignition to on a big smoke come out of my 2 subs . I shut off the ignition and check .... I have 50 Volts come out on the amps to my sub ... its very high ... ?? Its a internal problem of My amps ?
I had same problem with a TC6001 and get solution from MTX, not send to MTX instead MTX kindly sent a quotation for parts to be replaced, I can tell you what parts need to be replaced if you still need a solution.
Sorry, long time not coming here, if someone still interested on solution next are information about parts to be replaced: Reference designators Q400 and Q401. They are PZTA06 and PZTA56 respectively. MTX part numbers for these parts are MDB008 and MDB006. I would also suggest changing
U501 which is a NE5532 (MTX P/N MES001), D400 and D401 (MTX P/N MDD812), and R513 (MTX P/N MBB014).

Not too high. i think subs are fried though.
50 volts DC at the output of your amp is extremely high and will certainly blow any subwoofer. It sounds like your amp is bad and the output is stuck against one rail. I have repaired a TC6001 before and I know that the rails are +50v and -50v. You will have to replace your subs and get the amp fixed.
