Why did hands come off during watch battery replacement?

If the hands of your watch have come off after replacing the battery, it could be due to a few different issues. Here are some possible causes and solutions:
  1. Improper installation: If the hands were not properly aligned when the battery was replaced, it could cause them to come off when the watch is turned face-up. Make sure that the hands are properly aligned and securely fastened to the watch movement before reassembling the watch.
  2. Loose or damaged hands: If the hands were loose or damaged before the battery replacement, they may have come off when the watch was turned face-up. Check the hands for any damage or wear and if necessary, replace them with new hands.
  3. Damaged watch movement: If the watch movement was damaged during the battery replacement process, it could cause the hands to come off when the watch is turned face-up. Have the watch movement inspected by a professional watch repair technician.
  4. Incorrect battery size: If the incorrect battery size was used to replace the old battery, it could cause the hands to come off when the watch is turned face-up. Make sure you are using the correct battery size and type for your watch.
  5. Incorrectly set the hands: During the battery replacement, if the hands were moved or set incorrectly, it could cause them to come off when the watch is turned face-up. Double check that the hands are set to the correct time and position.

Pulsar World Chronograph, World Timer

Click on the crown (the stem in the middle on the right side). There are three settings, and one of them will change the minute hands' behavior to normal. You might also check out this guide:

My nooka watch constantly blinks and makes beep sounds. how do i stop this? and why it is beeping?

Hi there! A Nooka watch flashes and beeps when the battery is almost at its end. The battery required is a CR2016. You should be able to get the battery replaced at any local watch repair or jeweler!

My watch needs battery evry 15days

Your problem may be that the back MUST be replaced in exactly the same orientation as it was removed. On mine the lettering on the back must oriented so as to read with the top at 12 O'clock. In other words, if you look at the watch face with 12 at the top (normal) then rotate to the back and place the back on so the words can be read. I hope this makes sense. Top of the words on the back must be exactly at 12 O'clock

I have an alabama watch and in the middle it is supposed to blink an alabama roll tide A but i do not know how to make it blink or have a solid A like I used to be able too.

Your batteries are dying my friend, take it to pretty much anywhere that sells watches to have the battery replaced. there is a main battery for the watch itself and 2 smaller batteries that control the screen or face changing. I think even your local walmart can change the batteries for you.

Good luck!

Field & Stream Mens Watch, F42GUBS

Take the watch to a jeweller. They should have all the batteries and seals and tools necessary for the job, and it rarely takes long or costs that much. you could probably manage yourself, but getting the seals especially is easiest through a jeweller anyway. Most likely reason for any watch to be not working is the battery, the next would be moisture inside - normally visible round the screen/face. always worth replacing the battery to see, unless the watch cost less than the battery, which it didn't. Hope this helps :)
