I recommend booking an appointment with the Genius Bar. If there is any hardware damage they will be able to fix to or replace it, hopefully for free.

Pairing MacBook Air (2012) with Aluratek 30 pin bluetooth audio receiver please help

I'm not clear what "30 pin" refers to. It sounds irrelevant to your question or am I missing something?

Try this:
Go to System Preferences, click on Sound. Make sure you are on the Output tab. Select your device.

How to eject a cd

A few ways of doing this

1) restart mac and press down the trackpad button after you hear the startup noise

2) if that does not work try opening up disk utility which is located in applications and then in the utilities folder and click on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject

3) or open up terminal found in the utilities folder within your applications folder and then type in
drutil tray eject and then press return

4) Finally what to do is try pick up your macbook tilt the
macbook to the one side and press the eject key and hopefully the effect of gravity will allow the CD to fall out.
However, I would say that DVDicon1.png drives in all macs are a bit suspect and if your macbook is still under warranty or under AppleCare take it back to the Apple Store and tell them that the DVD drive is faulty and they should replace it free off charge. Hope this helps.

The left speaker of my Macbook air produces a cracking sound when in use

something could have gotten into the speaker and touch the membrane hence the crackling when the membrane moves around.you can try to blow it out with a compressed aire can. if that fails, would assume your speaker is broken somebody has to open the Macbook and replace the part. If you want to pay to have somebody do it for you there is a third party Macbook Repair Service. However, if you want to do it yourself, the part is available on ebay. Here's an Macbook Repair guide. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you.

Whenever I step away from my Macbook Air (running 10.5.8) and it goes to sleep, when I come back it says that it tried to shut down Firefox but could not. Then I have to go through several steps to cancel...

I would check the energy saver settings under system preferences and see if it is set to go to sleep after a period of time. Also check the schedule button under energy settings to see if there is a scheduled sleep setup. Hope this helps

Cant get any hot or cold air from vents or defroster

this would mean the blower motor is not working either because the blower motor is bad or the blower motor resistor is bad if you lost any speeds before this happend then you most likly have to replace the resistor this is located under the dash passanger side and is mounted in the heater box behind the blower motor (follow the wires from the blower motor to find resistor

My macbook air has has slowed down after using skype. The start-up takes a long while. In general, the computer has slowed down.

Click the Apple in the upper-left corner, then click System Preferences. Click User Accounts. Now, click the lock at the bottom if you need to authenticate and make changes. Highlight your name and click the Login Items tab on the right. Highlight Skype and click the minus (-) button. Now Skype won't start when your computer does. If that doesn't help, open your Applications folder and drag Skype to the trash to remove it from your system. If that doesn't help, something else is causing your computer to slow down.

Let me know. I'll monitor your thread.
