Hi, Please don't take this the wrong way but did you install the hinges the right way? I fit bathroom suites for a living and have done this a few times wrong by putting the left hinge on the right side and vice verser. Sometimes the instructions are not very clear in explaining which side is left on the seat, as a result even though the toilet seat is closed, the springs are set backwards and are in fact in the up position. Double check the instructions once more, and just have a look on the hinges and seat because sometimes they have a small 'L' sticker on the hinge and an 'L' sticker on the seat and lid to correspond which hinge goes on which side. Hope this is of help to you.

Hi Fixya Team, I have a loose toilet seat and it is difficult to tighten as there is no underside. The toilet seat and cover fall out from the hinges. Please may someone help me. Thank you.

If the bolts spin and don't tighten, you'll need to use pliers to grip the nut on theunderside of the toilet while turning the top of the bolt with a screwdriver. Tightenuntil the seat stops wiggling. Fortunately, there's something you can do to keep thetoilet seat from coming loose so often
Loosen the screws with a screwdriver just enough so you can adjust the hinges to reposition the seat. Temporarily reinstall the seat and lid by pressing them back down onto the hinge pins. Close the seat and lid, and align them with the front and sides of the bowl.

Porcher Toilet Lid Hinges are loose

Hello,

Tinkerbellpp is right about the 70032-00.001being out of stock. You can replace this with the 70030-00.001(chrome hinges) seat which will fit the Veneto Toilet. You can find this at your local dealer/showroom. Hope that helps!

How do I replace a toilet seat on duravit happy D toilet

I think our toilet is a Duravit.
Close the seat and the lid then have a look at the back of the hinges. If you can see a small hole in the back of the hinge there will be a grub screw in the hole and you can undo it with an allen key (not sure what size - you'll have to try a couple)

My cadet toilet does not fill. I have to open the tank and push the valve to get it to fill. Do I need to replace a part ?

I would suggest trying to clean the flapper seat and also the pins that the flapper hinges on. If the flapper looks closed you can try putting a bit of petrolium jelly on the flapper seat and see if that fixes the problem. If nit you should replace the flapper.

I just installed a kohler toilet fresh from the crate. The fill valve runs every few seconds for just a few seconds. I suspect a leak but can't find any water drops in or around the toilet. Can you...

open lid of tank, check if chain to flapper is too tight, then check if something blocking flapper from seating properly

Lid to toilet tank as i dropped the lid and broke it.

Hello;
Go down and buy another seat for your toilet. Under the rim are 2 nuts 1 on each side. Unscrew the nuts directly under the back of the seat. When the nuts are removed pull the seat off and discard. Install the new seat in the reverse order.
Thanks;
Rich
