Hi.
Just right click on the file in Windows explorer and click on DELETE in the emergent menu.
It might tell you file to large to send to the recycle bin, that means you wont be able to recover it if you proced to delete it, just click ok, and done.
If it is write protected( do not allow you to delete it), just right click again, click on propreties, uncheck de checkbox Read-only, click OK and try to delete it again.
Good luck.

Unfortunately deleted the maps suppled withe the device.Hve obtained the basemap and sum file on dics from garmin and have loaded it to the device however the maps are not showing up.Have downloaded...

The base map will just give you major highways. You are missing the gmapprom.img file which supplies all city streets. The sum file is not used and is only a checksum file to insure that the basemap was downloaded without errors. The map file, depending on year can be anywhere from 1 to 2GB in size and too large to be sent by email. In addition, you will need an unlock code file to activate the map on your unit. Hi experts, my computer indicates there's only 1,14 gb space left on my usb stick but really there's only 8 items on it that don't even add up to 1 gb all together. I want to put a movie on it, (there...

Most movies are about 4.5GB to 8GB, this is probably why your not able to put a movie on it. Secondly a lot of flash drives say its 4GB but really its 3.5-4GB. There must be something your overlooking as file size for ti to take up that much space. go to the properties of each file and look at the folder size, might find something you missed that's taking up more space.

Hello sir i have kingston 32gb Ccore ccm3110 pendrive it can copy any thing but after copying to my pc the first video file can play ony 14.2 min and others will not open at all solve my problem please

May be your pendrive has corrupted the files or may be your pendrive has some viruses.
I suggest u not to use so much memory on pendrives as sometime pendrive automatically corrupt your data.Use small memory of pendrive. If u want to use big memory it's better u use hard drives

Unwanted movies

Dear JS,

Why should anyone have a problem deleting files & folders from the PC? The Jvc video files on your hard drive are just that.

There are 2 ways of deleting these video files. One, thru the Cyberlink PowerCinema. Just open the programme, select Back Up folder, then select the files (Tick each) and click Delete on the left menu. Two, direct delete from the Hard Disk. Go to e-drive, open MyWorks, go to videos, highlight the video files, click the Del Button on your keyboard, say 'yes'. End of the session, just open the Recycle Bin and empty it up.

I hope this solves your problem. However, if it is that you need to delete the files in your camera, there are options in its menu as well.
