Hi there. Check and tighten all wiring connections. Check the hi limit for continuity across the terminals using an ohm meter, if it has no continuity, you have to replace the hi limit. Regards.
Hi there.
The computer board of your fryer does not recognize a Temperature Probe connection.Try to check Temperature probe wiring if properly fitted on connector.
Regards.
Hi there. Try cleaning the thermopile, it must be free of soot or any form of dirt. Ensure that the gas pressure is sufficient, all wiring connections are tight and the hi limit is good. If all of these are okay and the pilot still wont stay lit, try replacing the thermopile. For Owner's manual download that will help you in minor fryer troubleshooting and reference, visit http://www.pitco.com Regards.
Try first to clean the thermopile. If it has accumulated soot/ carbon, it will not sense enough heat from the pilot flame to generate small amount of electricity to energize the pilot valve and main valve of gas valve.
Check and clean the thermopile, it is the cylindrical piece of metal standing behind the pilot assembly.Try also to tighten its wiring connections to the gas valve and high limit. If it does not correct the problem, replace the thermopile.
The thermopile on gas operated equipment acts as small voltage generator when heated that energizes the pilot valve and main valve of the gas valve,. Without it, you will not be able to fire up your fryer.
you need to change the pressure regulator, burner orfices and possibly the gas valve.goto northernparts.com and type in the model of the fryer for propane
