Hi, i have an M-AUDIO keyrig 49 and it was working go0d untill lastnight...i turned on my computer and turn on my keyrig on and it dont wanna turn on!!! i only have 2 weeks with it,still brand new and im all the way in dominican republic.....any help will be apreciated!!! thanx !!!

The cable could be bad. Try another cable. USB port problems are also common with M-Audio.

If that doesn't work, try using a 12v adapter to power it on.

Just make sure you don't use both USB and the power adapter at the same time, or you can fry the board.

If it powers on with the adapter then it's an USB issue. If it doesn't, then it's something else.

take it to local dealers this may needs to be connected to computer for system update

READ ALL EQUIPMENT MANUALS! You guys never give enough detail, like how old is the unit. What happened just prior to the problem.

If this is used to generate sounds using your computer, the problem is most certainly in your computer software. Common causes are antivirus and blockers that insist upon processing every bit of data including that from devices like this. The delay to do so is unacceptable as these anti things use mass amount of computer resources. Also if you have a wireless internet link active, that sucks processing time... Turn all of these computer resource "hogs" off and see if the problem goes away...

Check the Window Audio process. Right click on My Computer- Manage- Services and Applications- Services- scroll down until you find Windows Audio- restart the process and put the start up type to automatic.

Thats why it won't work NO driver Windows 7. The ONLY shot you got, is to install Mode, & set Compatibility Mode for XP SP2 Run as Administrator

take it off battery and the open the computer and press on after you see is on press enter

Charge it for an hour then hold down the power button.
