If you have a 24 V 100 amp source you can just plug in your 24 V 3 amp load and it will work. If the load was higher, near equal, or equal to the supply available that would be a problem but having a more amps available than are going to be needed is not a problem. The voltage available and drawn do need to be the same and in this case they are both 24V so you can work away.

I have a Sony bravia kdl 46v2500, the picture goes dark then the pic goes completely black and standby light blinks 4 times. Which board needs replacing?

When the TV goes dark, check the back lights is still on or not.

1. If the back lights are still on, mostly the problem is the T-CON board.

2. If the back lights are off, test the 24V DC voltage, back lights on & Dim control voltage on the invert board.
a. If the 24V is not there, the problem is the main power supply,
b. If the 24V is there, also the back lights on voltage is over 3.0V DC, the Dim control voltage is over 2.8V DC, the problem is the invert board,
c. If the back light on & Dim control voltage are lost or low, the problem is the Main board.

I need a contactor or relay with a 32 v coil and can handle minimum 40 amp

many shops and stores provide this.. if you talk to a local elecrician i am sure he is able to obtain it for you, or you can do a simple google search witch will give you many alternatives. following are a few i found by a quick search

Solid State Relay 40A 3 32V DC Input

60A AGT SSR Solid State Relay 3 32V DC 24 380V AC 24V 380VDC Newegg com

Aliexpress com Buy 1pcs SSR 100DA 100A Solid State Relay Module 3 32V DC...

if none of these fit your requirement. there are cheap and easy ways to drop the voltage across the coil. so you may use a 24v version if you do

How can I operate my LG 26LE5300 LED LCD TV in my motorhome the most direct way possible (i.e....without an inverter)? This low power (40-50 watts) TV has an external brick to convert 120 AC to it's...

1) You need to look at the output current rating (AMP) of this AC to 24dc adapter, this 24vdc adapter is a regulated switching power supply that will maintain 24vdc output up the maximum current rating and also has shutdown circuits if the over current draw is detect and also if the output voltage goes up beyond 24vdc to protect the load (TV).

2) To use 12vdc to 24vdc DC-DC booster, it should have the following spec:

A) The output current rating should be at least 20% higher than the load requires to give its head room.
B) It must have regulated output that will maintain the 24vdc when the input (12vdc) will vary from 10vdc ~16vdc or higher since your batteries will not maintain exact 12vdc all the time.
C) It must have good protection circuits that will protect it self from reverse polarity connections, shorted output protection, over voltage output protection.
D) It should provide AC ripple spec on the 24vdc output, it should be in the milli-volt range (you will always get AC ripple riding on top of DC when you rectify the AC into DC).

These are the minimum requirement for your DC to DC booster, which you need to protect your TV and your motor home from burning down.
I hope I explain it OK to you.
