SOURCE: how do i connect my HBH-600 bluetooth headset to

hi thanks for using fixya!

Connecting a Bluetooth headset or hands-free speaker unit to your phone involves setting the headset to “discoverable” mode; check the headset manual for how this is done, as it varies by type and model. You’ll also need to find the headset PIN code in its manual – this is usually 0000 or 1234, but again it varies.

Go to Bluetooth menu – from the main menu highlight Settings (Figure 1), click Select, and scroll right to highlight the Connectivity tab. Highlight Bluetooth (Figure 2), click Select and then highlight Handsfree (Figure 3) and click Select.

When prompted to ‘Add a handsfree device’, choose Yes (Figure 4), and your phone will look for all discoverable hands-free units (Figire 5). Select the one that you want from the list that appears and enter the hands-free unit’s PIN code when prompted. The pairing will now be complete.

Once paired, you’ll find the headset listed under the My devices menu in the Bluetooth settings area, from where you can connect and disconnect it.

Hope it will help you. If you need further assistance, let me know!

Regards!

Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode.
When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF,
then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999

My HTC touch cannot connect to Sony Ericsson stereo bluetooth headset HBH-IV950 in stereo mode to receive music

Both are very old phones and I'd suspect those even output real stereo sounds. Buy a new phone. Stereo music wasn't a major in the check list in smartphones of that era..

I cannot pair my Nokia N95 with HBH-608 Akono headset

Press and hold down the headset volume key in the centre. Hold it for about 5 sec. The led will now flash on/off in red. This is the pairing mode. Set your mobile phone to blue tooth discovery mode, until it finds the headset, key in the pass key, 0000. It should now work. You may need to set the phone to select the headset as an automatic connection so it connects whenever it is on and in range.

Hbh-pv705

I had this problem. I fixed it doing follow: hold volume keys together, so the indicator is flashed red and green (reset to default settings mode). Then press power button to turn the headset off. Then turn it on again and try to find the headset again from my phone. Then select "pair" from phone menu and typed "0000". The led stopped flashing and headset was connected. Before this my phone couldn't see the headset at all. Hope it will help you! (sorry for my English, I'm from Russia =))

Pairing Problem

It may be that the phone does not play music through bluetooth and that it only plays through the earphones that come with the phone. The only way to find out is to read the documentation on the phone or try another bluetooth headset, really. The headset cannot be faulty as it pairs correctly and it works with calls. Bluetooth headsets are not really intended for playing music as it drastically reduces battery life.

Bluetooth ear piece

blinking red and green means the headset is in pairing mode and ready to be connected to your phone. This means it is either the first time you have paired the headset or you have depressed the volume +/- buttons simultaneously for more than 5 seconds. If your phone cannot find the headset, it may be a compatibility issue. Try pairing the headset with a friends phone, possibly a sony ericsson. Good luck.
