Hi,
can You be specific by mean of which system error? Like E100? E000?, E001....

Few examples of most common errors:
E100 - Laser trouble - change the drum unit ( complete drum unit )
E000/001 - fixing trouble - try to reset the error under service mode - procedure: press MENU and #, with > key go to CLEAR and OK, find ERR and OK, turn off and back on - if it helps you solved the problem, if not you need to change the thermistors or the fixing lamp, because you have low/high temperature problem.
E019 - waste toner full - remove the drum unit and open the corks on top of the unit and empty/vacume waste toner out.

Hope that helps!

Hoo.comi want to solve the problem in my copier canon ir 2016, error code e354

Hello,
this is error code that isn't stated in service manual and doesn't have description. When this error occures the procedure is to report to Canon service center. The same errors were on ir1600/2000 series, but without some good explanations.

So, call authorised CANON service partner!
