doesn't the viewty come bluetooth enabled? I don't think you need to use a third party software for it to connect with the laptop.

There is an solution for this one.

Try this:

Don't connect or search your phone by the bluethoot dongle
settings. Make sure that the program is running and the bluethoot
dongle is alive.

Now find the bluethoot settings on your phone.
Before you choose for new devices make sure that your
phone settings MY device visibillity is on.

Go back to the bluethoot menu and choose Search for new device.
Your laptop will be found by your phone.

A screen appear on the laptop and ask for a password to get connected with your phone.

Choose a password in numbers and use the same numbers as you did putit in on your laptop on the phone.

When this is done the laptop will find your phone.
now you can turn of the visibillity of your phone and make the
device profile on your phone ( your laptop ) authorised.

So you do not have to put in the password everytime when you
make a connection with your laptop.

I hope this will helps.

First install the LG software on your laptop called pc suite.if you have done this then on your laptop go to control panel then system then device manager then check whether the port on which you connected your handset is working properly. If yes then go and check the settings of the pc suite you installed.Did you enable file sharing on the suite?

Why wont my images come up when im on lg pc suite? only one picture comes up,and its all connected it just wont show me my images.

Can you connect your computer and phone via bluetooth? If so, try Bluetooth File Transfer (BFT). It's free, and it works AMAZINGLY well. I am not sure why it reads one pic, and not the rest. I didn't have any luck with that LG program either. That's what I ended up using, the BFT. It is superfast!

Do you have a memry card? If so then you can access that by going into settings, phone settings, connectivity, usb connection, andchanging it to mass storage.

LG KU990 Viewty can't open the contents in the lg pc suite.

HI All,

I had the same problem where i could not access the pictures etc off my viewty using a Vista laptop.
Now, assuming you guys are not bothered about the photo suite software itself, you can set the Viewty up to act as a mass data storage device (i.e. usb dongle etc). This enables you to view the full content of your Viewty, without using the **** LG software..

To do this...

1: Open up "Phone Settings"
2: Select "Connectivity"
3: Select "USB Connection Mode"
4: Select "Mass Storage"
5: Confirm by pressing "Select" at the bottom of the screen.
6: Return to home screen and connect to PC.
7: If PC does not automatically find the data, go to "My Computer" and look for a "Removable Storage Device"

If all goes well, you should have access to all your files!

Regards

Craig
