There is a cap on the top of square knobs that you have to pry off with a tiny thin blade. Under that cap is a screw that will allow you to remove the knob.
There is no cap or screws on the cap. However, I disovered that the tops were pressed on and by prying lightly back and forth on all sides of the cap I was able to remove the cap. This exposed the valve underneath the knobs. Hope this helps others.

GLAD you got that figured out. that is what I meant about the top of each handle. Once that cover is removed you can get to the valve.
How do you remove the whole faucet thing?
