Repair deflated to prevent air bubbles and it will leak... I've used 3M adhesive remover.. Comes in small 6 oz can.. Home Depot. and when repairing, use a clamp similar to this style in the picture I attached.. Let dry for several hrs... Hope this works for you!! If it helps please rate!!!
check for any signs of water by hoses/pump....outside of pool on ground and leaks by under the inflatable ring outside...good luck!we had a neighbor or stray cat that would jump onto ring to drink!caught it after seeing "foot prints"....had to wait and catch it...but scared her with hose and patched pool...had teeny points from claws!
You might try letting water out to the point where the ring could fall or be pushed over into the remaining water. Then inflate the ring and squeeze a submerged area gently. Look for bubbles.
Soapy water never worked for me... Pour kids bubbles into a bowl and use a paint brush to spread the bubbles on the top ring. If there is a hole you'll see it begin to blow a bubble where the hole is. patch with vinyl repair kit.
My neighbor had this trouble also she was trying to put the o ring in the grove of the top it does not go there it just sits on the unit and the top screws down
