I have a Kenmore Elite ULTRA WASH Dishwasher (Model 665.13854). It has the light under the "Smart Wash" button continually flashing. If I press the "Normal Wash", "Delay Hours", or "Cancel" buttons, then they start flashing also. If I remove power and then restore power it goes back to having just the "Smart Wash" button flashing. Looking inside I found a wooden spoon that was lodged in the bottom in a way that would have stopped the bottom spinner from moving. I've tried pressing various combinations of buttons (Normal Wash-Heated Dry-Normal Wash-Heated Dry, and High Temp-Heated Dry-High Temp-Heated Dry) that I've seen posted to reset it, but none have worked. How can this be reset?

This issue appears due to stuck keys on control keypad or due to moisture/shorted connections on the keypad. Sometimes this appears when the door is not closed or door lock switch is failing. Turn off the power to dishwasher, unplug the power cable from outlet or shut off the breaker. Use a multimeter and make sure that the connection to door switch assembly are fine, also check the continuity of the door swiches (when closed). If continuity is present you would need to check the connections to the keypad. Try disconnecting the P1 connector(connects keypad to control board) and then reconnecting it, check if the problem is still present. Replace the keypad if the problem still appears.
