Actually my nokia n70 is only displaying white screen,it is displaying nothing else on switching it on the hand symbol also doesnt come only sound is playing everyting else is normal except the display........plz tell me what to do??????i m completely pissed off.....

possible the firmwar is damage or sum ics have burn because of a power spike, or brownage while it was on charge, take it to a repair shop to be checked
Try this one, enter *#7370# once you see the white screen. This will going to reset your phone to factory settings. Enter your security code, but by default 12345 is the security code.
hi there you've go a software problem there try this manual formating somtimes it works but if not must go now to any nearest service center to reprogram your phone. ok! so here's the tricks to format.... power off the phone first then PRESS and HOLD "CALL KEY" + "* KEY" +
"3 KEY" then power on the phone just hold and wait till NOKIA LOGO
appears then release. finish, phone will be ok. you will know that you
successfully format the phone cuz' all your data form the phone will be
back to normal.
It looks that your N70 has a booting problem. Your phone wasn't booting. Usually the boot IC goes bad and needs t be replaced. You have complicated your problem by changing the glass IC's. This surely wasn't your problem. I'm not sure if you have replaced them correctly though. If you have a digital multimeter than check your phone across the battery terminals. Keep the meter on 'Continuity' which also shows a 'Diode' symbol and check ur phone .Between +ve to grnd, one side, the meter shd show around 370 ohms and reversing the polarity of the meter across the same terminals of the phone the meter shd show a reading similar to a capacitor discharge action towards infinity. Now if these readings do not show, then the phone has a 'shorting' somewhere. I suggest u take your phone to a technician he may be in a position to kick start it back to life.....................
a lot tobe done in that problem of your... but i can give you one of the best... place yur unit in table so you can be cmfortable...the press all the keys in same time these keys are key *,key3,the call,and power on switch... much better if you had buddy beside you..to hold the unit... press them in same time or together, dont release it until you dont see a word formatting... wait until it finsih and the unit will be restarted by itself... enjoy
