I have a everbilt 1 hp shallow deep well jet pump. It does not have good pressure. I was unable to put the extended plastic jet adaptor in the pump. I could not install it

you can adjust the pump switch to get higher presure its the box on the outside of the pump with two screws, one is an upper limit screw to turn the pump off at the proper presure ,the other screw turns the pump on when it gets to a low presure,Make sure electric to pump is off.

Washer over fills with water

They work on a pressure switch. It has a rubber hose that connects to the bottom of the drum and runs up to the top control panel. When water fills up into the hose the air pressure trips a switch. So either the switch is bad and not making contact when it clicks. Or the hose is leaking air so it won't let it build up enough pressure. I had one that a mouse got up into and chewed a hole in the hose. You can take the back panel off of the top control panel and let the water in and listen to see if the switch clicks when it gets fulll. If it does and doesn't stop filling then it is a switch.
Or it could be the water shutoff switch where the water hoses hook up. If it is that then it will run all the time, more than likely. Is that what it is doing? Does the washer start running and water keeps coming in? Because it wont start running until the pressure switch is enganged. If it starts running and keeps coming in it is that. Good luck hope this helps.

While sitting in park, my 1999 ford explorer with the 5.0 v8 has good oil pressure on the gauge. After driving for awhile the presure starts to flux really bad. The presure remains good while driving at...

maybe it's ur gauge! you can get it pressure tested at ur local auto shop for pretty cheap i think! Sounds to me like its nothing major as long as you know you got oil pressure! ( check temps while driving) BUT i wouldn't worry to much about it as oil pressure tends to flux as car is driving/ getting warm and oil gets lighter. Worst case scenario is a leak in the timing cover gasket and whoever replaced it should cover it. Do you see an residual oil near it? or on the ground when its wet and you pull out of your parking space? Hope this helps!

My 2 group astoria over steams from top of boiler.it warms up then in about half hr steam shoots out at the preasure valve doicky do i need a new one of those thanks greg

The pressure releive valve is pre-factory set to open if the pressure in boiler reach between 1.6 to 1.8 bars.
So either you have the presure switch (presostat) not working normal which supose to switch off the electrical element at 1.2 to 1.3 bars.
So look at the presure gauge at which presure the presure releive valve open and releive the steam out from boiler if it shown more than 1.5 bar the you need to check the presure switch since it does not switch off the heating element.
If the presure releive valve open below 1.5 bar then you need to replace the releive valve.
Good Luck

I have an IR Air Compressor #SS3 E. It want stop running/building up pressure. I am sure its the pressure relief valve, but there are 2. One at the presure regulator and the other at the pump and motor.How...

if it is lifting both valves I would say that the pressure switch (regulator as you call it) is defective, if you try to shut it off using the manual switch and it keeps running, I would say that the switch is welded shut. if it does not shut off by 125 psi then it is faulty. The pressure switch is what controls the motor in response to pressure in the tank.

No more then 30 pounds of presure and wont shut off. Flotec water

If the pressure does not get pass 30 psi, then check for leaks along the pipelines and on the tank itself. An air leak on the top portion of the tank can cause the pressure not to trigger the pressure switch. Use soap bubbles to detect any air leak. Although a stuck pressure is not more likely the problem, check it also.
