Yes, it normally works for me to put the usb into a different usb slot. This will reinstall the driver for a different usb slot and make it work perfectly!! Make sure it is charged, and that you have powered it off and back on first.

Hi, I have had the same problem, its to do with the merging of Orange and T-Mobile networks to give you better signal coverage, but if you have an old phone or sim card, mine is over 12 years old, it wont automatically update, hence the error message. You need to call 150 from your mobile and ask them to send you a new sim card, which you will need to register when you receive it. Good luck, PS Dont bother going into the shop, they couldnt help me, although you could call from there.

Initially, pls check that the displays of both radios are identical. This is important to establish that the channel/frequency, Interference eliminator settings and all others are the same that both are paired. In some instances, the radio settings may not be changed if it is locked. Top unlock, press on the MENU button for about 3 seconds. For all other settings, pls refer to the user's manual.

Within an hour after I posted this request (6/28/08), I solved the mystery by unplugging the receiver, waited one minute and re-plugged it back in. Closed captioning is back on again.

try changin the network search to manual and manually select the network you are on right now..
if 3G network is availavle, do not choose that.. choose any 2G or 2.5G network for your service provider that wud be available..

if that doesnt work, try to delete all the cookies and stuff from the phone, delete all network settings you got on ur handset, and ask your service provider for the settings again..

You might think m joking but m not.............wrestle again or through your phone on floor not from height make sure u dont break it.I did the same take out your battery put it back turrn your phone on again i should show you signals,if you still dont get it then go to settings>>connectivity>>network selection>>manual and select your network. it will take some time(maX 2 mins) to select your network....n your phone is back to working order.[i tell you again dont smash it on floor it might break it or you can through it even on a matress]
