My computer is crashing repeatedly do to viruses and other malware. I would like to just pull a complete system restore on it, but in the past my Linksys WMP54GS PCI Adapter has always given me trouble when I try to reinstall it. It always says "You are connected to the access point but the internet cannot be found". I normally have Linksys sort this out after repeated failures, but they charge $10 that I would rather keep. So my question is, what are ways to fix the problem of not being able to connect to the internet after it has successfully installed?

Hi, Did you update the software? Do not have 2 anti-virus programs running because they can have conflictions with each other. There for 1 or both will stop running. The same with firewalls. Good luck.

Sounds like you may have a virus.

Download and run Malwarebytes and see what comes up.

The program will fix most virus problems and is a good software to have on all computers.
