This lightning strike depending on where you are seeing it is either showing you the button to push for the internal flash to pop up or it's telling you that flash is required for the camera setting you have chosen. If the lightning strike is an icon on the camera body it will be beside a button that's for an internal flash. If you see this in the viewfinder or screen then the camera is letting you know that the scene is going to require flash.

Lightning Strike Symbol means that the battery is charging.
If it is shown even when it is not charging then your charging circuit needs to repaired. Just replace the charging IC not a very high cost. Might cost around 5-10USD.

nor engine option, , (strike 3)
and makes any answesr impossible
and there is no Emissions light, you named it wrong.
my wild guess is its the Check engine light or CEL or MIL
seen

I got the fEE symbol on my newly bought N60 camera body. What does it mean??

It means the lens aperture ring isn't locked. Turn it to its smallest setting (largest f/number) and lock it if the ring has a lock. You control the aperture from the camera body, just as you would with a lens without an aperture ring.

I have a Nikon N60. Can't take pictures outside

can you manually change your f-stop to faster shutting. When the shutter stays open longer, it will draw in to much light. If you have an option for only outside pics, then I would try that as well.

3 batteries later and it still wont charge plug in battery symbol with lightening strike throug it and off the light on the charge goes red then green

thats a symbol of phone charging,just live it for a while about 30min or more.

Will not print

So, the printer works just fine but won't talk to the computer. Don't know if it ever did. Needs software and driver to do so.

Well you already proved that your keyboard is fine.

The problem is with yahoo. Try typing in other websites and see how that works.

Are you using yahoo "email classic" or the "all new yahoo email"? Try the classic and see if that works. Also, try updating your java:

Nikon N60 fEE Issue

First of all, you can download a manual from here.

Basically, with certain types of lenses you need to set the aperture ring on the actual lens to its minimum setting (f22 or f32). Once it is set here, the camera can then control the aperture. It's covered on page 16 of the manual.
