PRIMA 32" TV

I have sound but no volume control. 0 is mute but when I move the volume level to 1 it is the same level as 100. It is either on or off. It is loud enough to be heard as long as there is no noise elsewhere. Have tried all the sound controls in options. Nothing changes it. Help anyone?

My Prima Q328 also has good picture but sound is either Off (Mute) or on. Level 1 is the same as level 100 but very low. There is also buzzing and clicks coming through the speakers that appears to be a bad capacitor.

Where do we start looking to fix? Will the Monitor Output have the same problem on the Audio?

If you know how to solder, try to solder the system ic an the sound ic but be careful of short circuit.

My computer is on mute, and the youtube videos dont have sound.every time i put sound on the video, it says mute, and every time i lower the volume all the way, it unmutes.

The YouTube video controls the output sound-level that it provides to your computer.
But, if you "mute" your computer, the sound-level is ignored.

When you "unmute" your computer, then the sound-level control on the video will control the volume of the current video.

HOOKED ALL MY SPEAKERS UP BUT SUB AND CANT GET ANY SOUND FROM FM OR TV THAT I HAVE HOOKED UP AM I MISSING SOMETHING ALSO THERE IS A LIGHT THAT SAYS SOUND MUTE BY FM

From the remote control ONLY:

Press MUTING to mute the sound through all

speakers and headphones connected.

"MUTING" appears on the display and the

volume turns off (the volume level indicator goes

off).

To restore the sound, press MUTING again so that "OFF" appears

on the display.

• Turning MASTER VOLUME on the front panel or pressing
VOLUME +/- on the remote control also restores the sound.

My Aiwa Colour TV, model No. TV-A2019, has developed audio problems. 1. The audio output from the speaker is high even when volume is set at level one. Audio output is constant for volume level 1 to...

You just come aroung the sound decoder section of your tv. Decoder problems may cause the fult you pointed out. Since all the controls are electronically controlled, and all are through sound decoder, which converts sound to stereo the problem must be there. Since sound comes from two channels are ok, there is no problem around sound output. Check for some soldering loose contact, wire socket loose cotanct also.

We have the stereo hooked up to the dynex 42'' tv, as we did our other tv, we can not mute the complete sound and also sometimes we cant turn the volume up and down whats going on?

Since you have it hooked up to the stereo system, you need to go to on screen audio set up and turn off the TV built-in speakers (you will be listening the TV sound through your stereo system speakers), then go to the audio output set up and set it to 'variable' so the audio output of the TV's RCA audio out put will vary with the volume control of the TV (not all TV will alow this function), you will need to set the stereo volume to certain level (around 9~10 O'clock setting) since the sound coming from the TV will be controlled by the TV remote volume control. You can otherwise set the TV output to be at 'fixed' level, which means the sound output of the TV will not be controlled by the TV remote volume control, you will use the stereo remote volume control to adjust the sound level instead. I hope this is clear to you.

Hum in sound volume

It could be a few things. The first thing you want to look at is make sure that the microphone is muted in the mixer controls of your audio cards. These settings are located in the control panel. If you need the mic, look under the advanced settings under it and disable the 20 db option for it.

If that doesn't work I have a few other ideas.
