In this case I would recommenrd you to please try and connect any external monitor to the system to check if you have the same issue in the external one as well..
If you got the same lines on the external one as well, it indicates that we can try updating the video drivers of the system
To update the video drivers, try the following link:

Please make sure to select the Operating system first you are using on the system and after that the last option you will see the Video drivers.
If the external one is working fine, it indicates that the issue is with the laptop screen itself and needs to be repaired or replaced.
