Hi
White film deposits are observed if water is hard or when you are using more detergent than needed, try filling detergent cup half way. Try using white vinegar after the wash cycle is complete, run a complete cycle. Also turn down the heat on the hot water fed to the dishwasher. Try using water softener for better results.
You can also add vinegar in the final rinse cycle. Make sure that your soap dispenser drawer is opening and closing fine.
Hope this helps... Please post back if more information is required.

How can I fix my coffee maker when the water resovior will not drain?

Try cleaning it by brewing a 50/50 mixture of white vinegar and water. You may have to run it through a couple of cycles with a fresh mixture each time. Then rinse by brewing water only a couple of times. Over time calcium and lime builds up inside the tubes of the machine and restricts the flow so this should be done once every few months or as needed. The vinegar will loosen the mineral deposits and flush them out.

I purchased a vintage Pyrex lemonade pitcher with a plastic lid on eBay. It was packed in shredded newspaper. Though clean and well cared for, the lid stinks of a rubbery smell. I'm concerned about...

1) dismantle the plastic lid into its various parts and put them in a bowl.

2) into the bowl, pour 1/2 cup of white vinegar

3) add 1 tbsp of baking soda

4) lastly, pour 2 cups of hot water (not boiling), enough to cover the plastic lid. Stir to mix the solution thoroughly.

5) leave to soak for 2 days

My keurig coffee maker is flashing the words DE SCALE. What does that mean and how do I fix it?

"Scale" is deposits of minerals, etc. normally found in water. Boiling a container of water (in a pot, or coffee maker in this case), leaves small amounts or "deposits" of these minerals on and near the actual heat source. If not removed, they can slow brewing time and more importantly, adversely affect the taste of coffee.

Descaling should be done at regular intervals to prevent this from happening. Your machine lets you know when to perform the descaling task. There are a number of products sold in your supermarket that will do this for you - but one of the least expensive; and just as effective - is to use white vinegar. Here's how to do it:

1) Drain your Keurig coffee machine over a sink.
2) Fill the machine with undiluted white vinegar.
3) Run the brew process at least four times, pouring the cups of vinegar back into the coffee maker.
4) Optionally, let your Keurig coffee maker sit for a few hours, then run the brew cycles again. Pour the vinegar into the sink and drain any remaining vinegar.
5) Fill your coffee maker with fresh water. Run multiple brew cycles with fresh water each time to thoroughly rinse the machine before returning to normal use.

That's it!

I know this will help & good luck. Please rate my reply - thanks!

I am unable to get the blending cup out of my Bella Cucina Rocket blender. I recently purchased this have and only used this a few times including once just before the ''cup'' stuck. It appears to have...

Hi! I just had the same problem and actually called the service number that came with the rocket blender. The lady on the phone said that the plastic cup must have expanded (from heat), and to stick it in the refrigerator for 24 hours until the plastic shrinks back down to normal. After the 24 hours the cup should be able to come off. Kind of makes sense, but I hope it works!

Kitchenaid 14-Cup has plastic, chemical taste

Run 1/4 cup vingar with a pot of water. The coffee is not finishing its cycle and some remains in the works. You may have to do this several times. Washing the carafe with ice and salt by swirling it around a few times until it sparkels clean. Last thing for a good cup of coffee is filtered water which will keep the unit cleaner too. :)

Low water presure on jura f 50 bean to cup machine machine still runs but water trickels out and take two to three times as long to make coffee

If you've never done a decalcification, do one. A decalcification basically means that you're running vinegar and water through your coffee maker to get rid of calcium build up, which can cause your coffee maker to run very slowly, or not at all.

You always want to do a "1/3 white vineger to 2/3 water" solution--meaning that if you have a 10 cup coffee maker, you want to fill it 1/3 of the way up with vinegar (3 cups), the rest with water. If you have a 12 cup coffee maker, you want to do 4 cups of vinegar, fill it the rest with water. And yes, it DOES have to be white vinegar--the other vinegar types don't do anything for calcium ;)

You basically just brew the vinegar/water though your coffee maker, and you might have to do it 2-3 times before it will be completely fixed--most companies recommend that you run the vinegar/water through your coffee maker once ever 1 to 2 months to prevent things like this from happening, so if it's already happening, you may have to do it more.

And always remember--after you brew a pot of vinegar/water through your coffee maker, brew a regular pot of plain water through it afterwards, or your coffee will taste like vinegar! lol
If all else fails, consider contacting the manufacturer. On their website ( www.jura.com ) it says the following about contact:

"
CALL our toll free HELP LINE: 1-800-767-3554
Monday -Friday 9AM to 9PM and Saturday 9AM to 5PM Eastern Standard Time.
Feel free to call at any time. If you are connected to our voicemail, PLEASE DO NO HANG UP. Leave your name, telephone number and when we can call you back. Please also leave the model number of your CAPRESSO product if you know it (see bottom of product)"

Good luck! :)
