Click start>open internet explorer and the address URL type http://192.168.0.1 press enter.
Username admin
password leave blank

A lan adaptor driver is fixable by downloading from the network site of the USB 2.0.
important notes
1. Lan adaptors are outdated versions incompartible with recent operating systems. Acquiring a new USB device or even wireless modems are the latest alternatives to lan computer connections of the past. Modern wireless modem connection have built in installation kits,also present is the computers capability to recognise to integrate to a network.

In order for you to make computer to wireless with your existing wireless router, first thing that you need here is a wireless adapter that will serve as a receiver for your computers to pick up the signal from your router.
Once you already have a wireless adapter on your computer you can now detect the signal of the router and connect to it and that should be fine after that.

the settings on windows 7 need adujusting to accept the new network,

Log into the router from your machine
turn off the other machines then try the router
from your explorer bar enter 10.0.0.1
this should log you on to the router
if it doesnt then you need to check the setting for your wireless adaptor,
check your ip address's are set to the routers sub net mask are

Try to MAC Cloning first. Open the router's admin page and look for MAC Address Clone setting. Enable it and save. You must power cycle the router and the modem after that.

You need an ethernet card, either hard wired or wireless to connect your computer to the DI-624.

connect the the ethernet cable to the WAN port of the modem.

the connection should be:
One end of the cable is connected to the modem and the other should be connected at the WAN port of the modem.

Now use another Ethernet cable plug it in on the LAN port1 and the other end to your computer.

Access the configuration page of your router and set the wireless setting inside your DI-624 router.

The LAN will really tell you that its disconnected since your computer downstairs is not connected with a cable to the router, the only problem here is the wireless PCI adapter is not installed properly, try to run again the setup CD for the adapter and make sure you restart the computer when the installation is complete...

correct you only need a wireless card or usb adapter is it a laptop or desk top unit? in any case a wireless adapter should do just fine
