HP OfficeJet J4580 All-In-One InkJet Printer Logo
Posted on Jan 07, 2011

Hi, I have an HP office jet J4580 and I made a copy of a document that was accidentally thrown out. Does this machine keep recent copied documents in a file or memory somewhere? Can i access and reprint my last two documents that were simply copied? Thanks!

The printer does not store any documents. They should be on your PC. Look for the most recently accessed documents, ususlly accessed by using the Windows key and choosing Recent documents.

Copy, scan and fax will not work. Message says refer to device document.

More often then not when you are refered to the machine's documentation without being told what the actual problem is, it is because there is a mechanical problem and needs to be serviced or replaced

When faxing on HP Office jet 6210 lines show up on the paper when it is recieved

Hi, The problem could be with the receiving machine and not yours. Here is a little test you can do, make a copy of a blank page and if the copy has line on it then it is your machine, if not then it is not yours. You need to open the top where the document feed through and clean the scanner glass with a moist rag, spots on that glass can cause lines.
Good luck, keep us posted.
