Most likely it is the drum cleaning blade. One indicator of the drum cleaning blade going bad is that the black lines will get worse as you run multiple copies. So if you make 10 copies for example, the last copy out will be streaked worse than the first copy out. Drum cleanig blades are about $30 bucks plus whatever your local service guy charges for a svc call.
Good Luck and Thank You for using Fixya.
If your printer is printing bad quality prints, You'd better use the printer cleaning software that came with your system. Most of the time, this software is installed to your operating system. So, just do the normal way of cleaning your printer head but do it like 5-10 times.
Hello sir; try to made 2 copies one go through by adf another one just put on the glass,if one copyclean another not clean then clean up the glass, if both copy all lines then replace drum unit.
Depends if the lines go across the page as if the paper comes out or if they go down the page. If across then poss drum, transfer, or fuser unit, If down the page could be a short on the charge then poss only drum unit.
CF3 - ATDC sensor malfuntion. This sensor measures the density between toner and developer. You might have a problem with too short developer. Add some more and do F8.
The manual says basically that you either have a problem with de sensor (under a bottom plastic plate of the image unit) or the main board (PWB-A).
