Olympus Stylus 7030- only a month old and the screen has gone black, but the camera still takes pictures and sounds like it is cycling through the pictures. The zoom lens works and the shutters still open, the only problem seems to be the lcd screen is blacked out? I have turned it off and on multiple times but nothing new happens?

The optical zoom will not work while recording video with sound. To use the optical zoom, turn the sound off. See pages 16 and 33 of this manual.

Moisture got into your camera. Dry it may work or replace lcd screen if available from ebay parts camera.

It could be circuit, capacitor or the flash tube itself? Digital cameras are so cheap now that buy a new one is a good choice.

Sound like a problem witj your LCD screen, some water could be damaged.

Most cameras will not be able to read pictures put on a card by a computer because of the different operating system....in fact, some cameras may even become corrupted by trying such a process. Are you sure you want to take the chance?

just send it to a repair centre, they will repair for free. the problem could be the mainboard, and needs to be changed
