nokia symbian 60 based phone are more virus friendly than any other symbia series..so you must format your symbian soft when you think your phone is infected..
now i am telling that how you will do this
1. at first, turn off the phone. 2. remove MMC card and make sure that the battery is fully charged. 3. this step is little hard, hold on 3 keys at this moment. the keys are star(*), button 3(def key), and te green send key..plz make sure you have pressed all the key at once.. 4, while pressing all they keys..plz press the power key button without releasing these keys.stay these keys pressed untill the phone says you to set the time country, date etc.
if it does not work on first attempts , try again..
What type of radio do you have? Does the radio transmit but no audio is transmitted? It may be as simple as a broken microphone wire. Please give us more information.
The problem is with your power supply. There should be a big round transister on the power supply this is the power transister. It will be mounted to the power supply case. Replace this transister and try to operaste your radio again. Make sure that the power supply you use is at leat 7 amps or the radio will not operate properly and you will possibly blow the transister again.
make sure the mic connector board is not touching anything inside. if it is not.. below it is a diode for the TX/RX.. replace it with 2 914 diodes and should work again.. 99% of the time..
1. Switch the first switch (S/RF SWR CAL) to CAL setting 2. Key mic up & 3. Turn SWR CAL knob while still keying mic until the needle is on the red CAL arrow at the far end of the meter scale. Unkey mic. 4. Switch the first switch back to SWR setting. 5. Key mic up again and record SWR reading and adjust as needed. 6. When done adjusting put switch back in the S/RF setting for normal operation.
1. Make sure you have at least 3/4 charge of battery power left. 2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card. 3. Switch-off your 6600 phone. 4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * (star key) & no. 3 key and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
Remember, do not let go all of the keys and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!
5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 6600 will back to original system and factory settting.
All apps installed & not of the phones' default will be lost. If you did a backup on your mmc, you can restore it back to the C drive again.
But first the background: I have an older model HP G85 printer that's a real workhorse and I love it but when I lost power that c00f0401 code came on and I couldn't clear it. So I called HP support and found them USELESS. A search of the Internet tells you to hit the #6 keys to clear it. Some say hit #9 to clear it and others say to hit #5 keys and still others tell you to disconnect the 'self-feeder' tray cable. I eventually cleared it by hitting the #9 key while simultaneously pressing the ON button. I did that about 50 times then it cleared itself and worked fine for a year. However last week I again lost power and when the power came back on again I couldn't clear it no matter how many times I tried.
SO HERE'S MY LATEST CURE and it worked several times in a row--so I think it will always work in the future.
1. Turn printer off 2. With your left hand hond down simultaneously the 5, 6, 9, and # keys an rhytmically press those keys up and down, up and down, (at the rate of about 3 times a second). AND AT THE SAME TIME: Use a finger from your right hand and press the on/off button rhytmically (at the rate of about 3 times a second). Eventually the INITILIZING light will stay light---then take all your fingers off all keys. 3. After waiting a short time (a minute or son) the computer initializes itself and it works fine.
Anyway, it worked for me each time I tried it. I hope it works for you.
