The webpage at http://www.facebook.com/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

Here are some suggestions:
Reload this web page later.

Also try adding your web browser to the list of allowed programs in the Windows Firewall.

To do this I went to START > SETTINGS > CONTROL PANEL > WINDOWS FIREWALL and then clicked on the link in the left hand navigation "Allow a program through windows firewall".

When I log into ebay i put my name and password in it then says This webpage is not available how can I fix this?

I suspect the problem is with the Ebay site rather than anything you're doing. Instead of using a bookmark, try going directly to Ebay by entering www,ebay.com. If still no luck, try logging in at a low traffic time, either early morning of late night. Next I would call Ebay directly at 866-540-3229 to discuss the issue.
Good Luck!

Forgotpassword,need to changenow

Hi, What OS are you running?

Perhaps you are running Windows 7. If you don't have another computer to create a password reset disk this method may work for you.

Start the computer in "safe-mode with command prompt."

Follow the instructions under option 2 of this webpage:
Windows 7 Built in Administrator Account Enable or Disable

Reboot to normal mode and you should have an extra Administrator account you can use to remove the password from your locked account.

If you do have another computer available which is able to burn a CD image or are able to make a bootable USB stick using the image of "NT Password Reset Disk" available for download on the following webpage:
Offline Windows Password Registry Editor
Instructions and FAQs for the software are at the top of the page, if you scroll down you will find the download links.

You will need to boot off the CD, from there it should be fairly self explanatory with on-screen instructions. This software will allow you to remove the password from your Windows account, once you have done this you should be able to restart and login to your account without a password.

My laptop refuses to connect to the internet. I entered the wrong password. I can't find a place to enter the right one.

depending on the software installed you should have an icon at the bottom right side of your taskbar it should have a computer with some wireless waves coming out of it run the cursor over it and it should say wireless connection and tell you if you are connected and what network you are connected to.Right click on this icon and a drop down script will appear.Click on repair wireless connection and see if that helps. If not click on the icon and try to view the networks available.Note if there is security on the network and what kind; this will require a password or ssid.If this is your network and you do not know the password.Open up a webpage 192.168.1.1 this is usually the router page also try 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.100 If you do bring up the page type in admin for the user name and the password both.Proceed to the wireless connection and see if upon entering the tab you can see the settings check to see if your password is there, you can ask it to show the characters.Other than that I do not know of any other practical way.

How do I secure my wireless router and use password enable

This is available by accessing your router on a wired connection through you web browser (I.E. Firefox or whatever you use.).

Your user manual will tell you how to access it but it will be by entering a numeric address in the browser address bar such as 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1 or similar.

Some routers have it on a label underneath them including the default password (normally but not always admin).

Under the security tab on the webpage that opens will be an opportunity to enter your own password to secure your network.

I type remember password every time.... yet it keeps requiring me to enter the password each time i open the site..

Check your Google Chrome Settings to see if you have an option set to delete browsing history/cookies/form data every time you close the browser. If you do, turn that option off, and that should hopefully clear up the problem. If that doesn't work, try deleting all of your history/cookies/caches, etc anyways, then go back to the website you were trying to log into, input the password, tell it to remember the password, then log out, and go back to the webpages login page, see if it shows up there.

I cannot get in to 192.168.0.1

http://192.168.0.1 is the default setting
if there is no response at all, the setting has been changed, the available addresses are in the range 192.168.*.* hunt for it, it is a security function, but sucks when nobody remembers what it was changed to.
If there is a password screen, enter the password.
If niether can be remembered, the router can be returned to 'out of the box' by the reset hole on the port side. then all the settings re-entered

I only want my desk top computer and my Husbands laptop to be the only people on our wireless network

The router manual should indicate how to set up the router. You may have to use a wire connection to the router when setting it up. Usually you run your browser (explorer?) and type an address like 192.168.0.1 into the address line. A webpage will let you access the settings. Look for the security setup. You want to enable WEP or WPA security with a password. You will have to provide this password to any computers you want to access the router. If your computer doesn't ask for the password, look in start-control panel - network connections - your wireless card - show available networks - choose your router - select WEP or WPA and enter the password.
