I have the same problem and it's intermittent has no odor, but I don't use starter fluid. All lights on the dash will flash and every drop electrical goes dead. it starts with the battery and emergency brake light flashing, then stayign on then boom, dah goes copletly out and of course with no power the fuel pump stops working

2006 Kia Sorento LX Sport 4x4. Should replacing the crankshaft positioning sensor get me back on the road? According to the details below what should my next steps be?

Question edited for clarity, year make model first and Codes are P-Zero and not P-letter Oh.
Question moved to model category.

Yes, if the crankshaft position sensor fails, the engine doesn't know when to fire the spark. Buy a quality OEM sensor and not a junk copy from Mexico. It is worth paying for a good one.

2016 Sorento cranks 3 second then stops

There could be a few reasons why your car's crankshaft may not be turning at the correct speed. One possibility is that the engine may not be getting the fuel it needs to run correctly. If the engine isn't getting the fuel it needs, it may not crank properly or at all. Another possibility is that there could be a problem with the crankshaft itself. In this case, you would likely need to replace the crankshaft.

Kia Sorento fuel gauge prob.

What I do is go by miles per gallon and fill the tank when I've driven enough for it to drop. As long as the odometer works it's all good. You can fix it if you want to go to the trouble. It's either a bad card in the tank module or a resistor fell off in the instrument panel.
Panels can be refluxed just like motherboards by tossing it in the oven for a few seconds. Tank modules have to be replaced.
