Bizhub C450 I have a bizhub C450 that needed the magenta imaging unit replaced. I just replaced it with a brand new factory sealed unit and now it will print but without the magenta color. I have replaced these before without any problems. I have plenty of Magenta Toner as well in the toner cartridge. Do you have any suggestions as to why it's not printing the magenta color? Thanks!

Amazon or ebay is your best best.

They refer to charging problems with your Magenta and Black IUs. If you do the usual checks (are they correctly inserted? are the back contacts clean?) and the problems persist, then it's time to try some new units.

Have you tried replacing the black imaging / drum unit?

bad magenta unit replace it. The other cartridges are new ??????.

Change the chip or enter in service mode and change the imaging unit life duration to long life.The copier displayed continuosly Please change the image unit,press OK and ignore.

u cant reset those , u have to change the counter chips .These are available in market

The yellow and magenta image units may be the problem. Yellow may have worn out on one end causing the yellow line. If the pink dots show up on every page but move around from page to page, there may be damage to the magenta image unit. You can remove the image units from the machine and look at the drums (long green cylinders), this should be shiny and clean. If not, you may need to replace.

On the end of the image unit you will find a white bit of plastic with a small screw in the middle, make sure this screw is tight and then reinstall the units(give the units a bit of a shake too)
