Not receiving text messages from a friend although I still receive calls from them. I previously received their texts ok. Both our phones work ok with other peoples numbers for calls and texts.They still receive my texts. Whether they reply using the reply button or their address book makes no differenceTheir phone says that the text is sent but I don't receive it. It has been ok previously. We have checked that the numbers are correct. If they send a multiple message to me and others the others get them but I don't. Please can you help?

U can try a cold reboot that where u have the fone turn on
and then u take out the battary while the
fone is turn on it fixed many erorr.

I have 2 theories:
it's either you got the wrong number saved on your phone of your "certain" friends or people that cannot receive your text messages or
the people you are texting and say that they don't receive your messages lie to you or

2 solutions:
1.check if the numbers saved on your phone is correct.

2.try to meet one of those certain people you said that cannot receive your message. when you are with any one of them, borrow their celphone and then send your text message, see if your message is received or not.

I have had this phone since October 2009. Yesterday evening it was working fine but last night at 7:30ish it stopped recieving text messages. I didn't realize it until today though I just thought my texts...
Such problems occur when your message center number has been tampered with. Call your service provider to get the message center number go to message settings and check the message center in use input the correct center number and your problem is solved.

Text messaging issues
I had the same problem with my new Blackjack 2, I could receive txts, but my friends would not receive the ones I sent. To fix it, I put a + in front of the number. and added the 1 before the area code. so their numbers looked like this +1(areacode)number. now they get them. Others had to do a hard reset of their Blackjacks, but it worked.
