Which "the manual" did you browse? Try the OM. It will tell you that you change names from extension 101 with the command PROG **1234 and system program 004.

If you are using this phone on a Panasonic KX-TDA 30/100/200/600 system. From the Switcboard / Main telephone or Managers phone with the handset on the cradle/hook press Program * * or Program * # followed by the system password ( default is 1234). Now press 004 and then ENTER. Enter the extension number you want to change. Now enter the name (the same way as texting on a cellphone) To save the changes press AUTO DIAL / STORE. To go to the next extension press NEXT on the screen. When you are done lift the handset and put it down to exit program mode.

It's done in system programming. You can't directly change it, you may have to manufacture a number like 666, change A to 666, B to A, then 666 to A. It's the Panasonic way, no SWAP Directory command :-)

Maybe u should "replace"or save as a new name for the caller's number. Please refer to the manual page 5-6 for how to storing the caller's information.

If you can not log into the programing tool to change it that way then you will still need the Installer password. However from the main ext typically the first ext or 101
