ok..first try to make a copy and check if it copies fine or not..
if it copies then hardware is working fine..
turn off the laptop and unplug the USB cable..
turn on the laptop and wait for 5mins and then connect the USB cable..once the USB cable is connected do not try printing..wait for the hardware to get installed..
and then go to the printers folder and check if the printer icon says 0 ready..if it says then try printing..that should work
SET YOUR PRINTER AS DEFAULT PRINTER
GO TO START - CONROL PANEL- PRINTER AND FAXES.
CHOOSE YOUR PRINTER RIGHT CLICK IT SET DEFAULT PRINTER .
THEN OK
U CAN GET PRINT
what os are u using and have you installed origal drivers that came with unit.
if youre using vista youll have to update drivers for scanner
if its not original disk youll have to update drivers anyway
