We have model 11502 air purifier. Recently turned it on and it ran for a few minutes and then stopped. Motor sounded fine- no squealing, didn't slow down before it went off- just stopped like it was turned off or unplugged. Motor turns freely, power connections appear fine. Is there an internal fuse? on the motor there should be a grease nipple somewhere locate that un screw it and grease the motor with a grease gun

replce the mtors as there is nothing in them to clean

compressed air , you might try bringing it to a electric motor repair shop or a auto shop and ask real nice if they would be nice enough to give your fan a shot of air. a weed blower will work also but not even close to the job of compressed air. last resort is to take it apart totaly and use soapy water and a scrub brush. do not get the motor wet ! and oil the bearings on the motor with zoom spout oil #D01.. and you can milk your favorite fan out for many,many years .. this way is like cheating death! ... jay the pool pump motor repair guy in longwood fl

Please check your blower for malfunction. Check the power supply and its relays as well.

I recently fixed one with the same problem. Remove the rear cover where the switch is mounted. (Take off the filter first) The wires have enough length that it is not necessary to remove them. Use a blow dryer and blow into the opening to remove dust and moisture from the circuit boards. Either one will make it start and stop. Make sure not to get it too hot or too close. Good Luck. I can't help you with the dealer question as I'm in NC.

It sounds like the fan motor may need to be oiled, front and rear. That has been my experience with stopping and starting at that length of interval.

Sounds like the drive gear is stripped.
