I have a hotpoint fdl570 dishwasher, not working, machine pumps out sump water, starts to fill, and all the lights start flashing, and water pumps back out. any ideas?

It may be having water level sensing issues, so it drains to avoid an overflow... break out your multi-meter or call a decent technician

If you live in and area with hard water, it is entirely possible that mineral buildup is blocking the water fill valve. The easiest way to remedy the problem will b e to replace the valve assembly.

Heating element 887013 replace

Question posted under Rheem water heaters
Rheem parts guide does not show that part number with either flanged or screw-in type.

If this is ordinary tank-type electric water heater, copy following link to see step-by-step.
http://waterheatertimer.org/How-to-replace-water-heater-element.html

Otherwise, add a comment or re-post question and include type, brand and model of water heater as shown on product label.
For example Atwood, or Under-counter, solar-assisted, tankless etc.

Hi, i have owned my Hotpoint Ultima WT960 washer for 3 years now with no problems, however recently the washer keeps tripping my consumer box. it only trips on the main wash cycles and is fine on rinse and...

I would concur that is probably the element and or thermistor attached to the element that is causing the problem.
Before commiting to replace, try disconnecting the supply to the element and trying it again, if it does not trip, then this proves element and or thermistor faulty.

Flashing lights on Hotpoint FDL570 Dishwasher

I had an identical problem with the salt and rinse aid lights on the left and the drying and end lights on the right flashing shortly after switching the dishwasher on. When I pulled it out, as this was the only way to look at the pipework, I noticed a big kink in the water hose. Removing this and obviously sorting out the flow problem has resolved the issue.

Hotpoint FDW60 heater replacement

The heater is the black element at the bottom of the tub. you can see it when you open the door, there are 2 wires attached to it under the dishwasher along with 2 nuts and some rubber washers to keep it from leaking, It is a simple job to replace. Remove the wires undo the the nuts that hold it to the tub, and there may be some brackets inside the dishwasher that secure it in place. remove the element and replace it. Install in the reverse order you took it apart.
