My tomtom gps only shows speed of miles instead of kilometer. how to change that? also I want gps to tell me to turn at how many meters instead of yards. can you help with that? thanks

To change the unit of measurement on your Giant Prime+ e-bike computer from kilometers to miles, you can follow these steps:

1. Turn on the computer by pressing the button on the underside of the unit.
2. Press and hold the "Set" button until the screen changes.
3. Press the "Set" button repeatedly until you see "UNIT" on the screen.
4. Press the "Mode" button to select "UNIT."
5. Press the "Set" button to confirm your selection.
6. Use the "+" and "-" buttons to toggle between "KM" and "MILE."
7. Press the "Set" button to confirm your selection.

Once you have completed these steps, your Giant Prime+ e-bike computer should display speed and distance in miles instead of kilometers.

If your question is how to display the distance information in miles, instead of kilometers ... it is a setting option you can change.
Touch the center area of the driving screen to view the menu ...
Tap on Change Preferences ... and move to the screen (near the end) to Change Setting
Tap on Set Units ... and get to and select Miles
Then finish/exit ... and all your distance units will be displayed in Miles

On the Garmin family you simply go to "settings" and in "navigation" select the units you want, either kilometers or miles. When you go back to your usual page you'll find that everything including distances and speeds and speed limits is now in the units you selected.

4. Set Units

from here you can change the units to kilometers.

Tap On the main screen. You will be on the Main menu now. Tap on change preferences. You will be on the preferences 1 of 6 now. Tap the arrow till you reach preferences 5 of 6. Tap set units. Tap on Kilometers. tap done. Keep tapping done till you reach the main screen.

From the main menu (tap anywhere on the map to get there), select Change Preferences.

Tap the change page arrow (orange triangle in the lower right corner) until you reach Set Units. Tap it.

The first screen that you come to will ask you to select Miles or Kilometers. Tap the radio button for Miles. Continue through the choices until you come back to the Change Preferences menu with "Done" in the lower right corner.

That's it.

(NOTE: You will first have to select Show ALL Menu Options before you see the Set Units button.)

First, Show ALL Menu Options.

Then, select Set Units.

Miles/Kilometers will be the first choice you'll be asked to make.

u shud get a different assembly of the meters which shows kilometers or else the bevel gear inside the assembly shud be changed so tht it shows in kms
