We received a 14 Cup Delonghi coffee maker DC312T and the carafe leaks. We love the coffee maker, & do not wish to return the unit. It was ordered on-line... All we need is a replacement carafe. Please help!

For what I remember, there is a small hose that runs on the bottom of the coffee maker. This streches and loses it's elasticity over time. I have cut it shorter, re-attached it, and then used a zip tie to keep it in place. Hope that helps!

I had a black and decker coffee pot do same thing and it was brand new. here is how I fixed it.
make sure the filter seated down good. If you look at the top of the coffee pot it should open up the little valve of the coffee filter holder. also mine had a little water spout above the coffee filter that swings over the filter. make sure it is over the filter. I know my coffee pot is different, but I think the problem is the opening from filter to coffee pot is not open some how so the water is flooding over the filter and going out the sides onto counter

I received the exact same machine for Christmas yesterday and had the exact same problem! I took it back to Williams Sonoma today and exchanged it for another one and I just started it up and have the SAME problem! Water comes out the bottom onto the counter - never even makes it up through the machine. This must be a batch of lemons - I guess I'll call Delonghi tomorrow.

Sears do not make the carafe anymore but this is something that I do that may help?
I took the top off the carafe an just placed it to the top of my coffee cup and sat the top part the holds the coffee on top of it and just poured the hot water from a cup I heated in the microwave. Do it very slowly until you get the it right for you, it works for and I hope it will do the same for you guys ?
