SOURCE: Will Not go to voice mail

Jennifer209, if you press FEATURE + the button VM is pre-programmed on what does it display? It should show the extension number pilot to VM. If you call it directly, what happens? If you get no answer calling it directly, your VM may be down.

Kaait, is it getting into the VM that's the problem, or doing things inside the mailbox that is the problem?

SOURCE: Need more rings

You have to change the rings from the voice mail server. If you don't know your way around the server, its best to get a local NEC tech although it is fairly simple to navigate. Depends on your skill. Typical default password for the server is NEC

How to conference call on a nec dtu 32d 1a phone?

When your're on a call, you press Conference, get internal dial tone, dial the extension you want or 9 plus the whole outside number you want, then press Conference again to tie the calls together. Some exts only have access to one call at a time, so if you can't make 2 calls at a time, this feature won't work.

How to divert calls

You can forward all to another extension or to an outside number. You can also forward busy/no answer to both of those, but then it'll cancel your busy/no answer to voicemail. Speaker 41 plus ext or 9 plus outside number will set CF ALL, speaker 43 will set CFBNA, 42 and 44 to cancel. These are the default codes for NEC pro II, Elite, and IPK. The DTP phone also works on other systems that have different codes.

My cordless phone in my restaurant is finally had it. NEC wants $300 for a new cordless! If I buy a different cordless made by a different company, will it be compatible with my NEC corded phone?

No, You must use an Nec telephone, thus the price. If you need it on one line only you could connect any cordless phone on the dial tone before the NEC system. This will ring and also you can call out but you will not be able to transfer from or to it and you cannot use any NEC system features.

NEC $279.45 from me [email protected]

Analog card not working in tda100

you will still need to dial a 9 from the phone to get an outside line, or you can program the analog ext to auto dial it for you. If you still can't then it sounds like the phone is in the wrong COS so it doesn't have access to the CO's.

Nec dterm phones

You can use it with just about an VoIP system that you may currently be running. Some features will probably not be able to use but yes it needs to have a PBX/ Server.

Audiocodes MP118 8 FXO early media to Freeswitch SIP extension

Hi, man.
There are many things to consider in this type of application.
when calling from PSTN to IP using analog lines from time to time you will have this type of event, I suggest working with H323 protocol, this will tone down a bit your problem.
If you want optimum performance, you should use a DID with the channels you need and address to your PBX SIP FreeSwitch. The DIDs are cheaper and are digital which eliminates random connectivity problems in the incoming call.
Once you have directed the DID you tell your server to transfer the call to the IVR using your internal dialing plan.
