SOURCE: H170 bluetooth headset - I can hear caller but

Because of the design of these headsets, over time the wire leading to the mic can wiggle and break loose, which allows you to hear fine, but prevents the listener from hearing you. My bet is that it's the red wire, as it tends to have more pressure placed on it. The dismantle process isn't easy (i'm working on the very same problem at the moment!) but if you'd like to try it and are able to do very fine resoldering I can share my notes with you. Otherwise, you're out of luck and will need to purchase a new headset. Sorry I can't give you better news!

SOURCE: Motorola S9-HD will not turn on or charge

I had this problem as well, and my issue stemmed from a faulty charger that came with my headset. I would suggest trying to charge your headphones with a different cable. I found that I could charge my headphones with the microUSB cable that connects my laptop to my external hard drive.

SOURCE: My LG Shine phone will not pair up with my new

Motorola blue-tooth devices are mostly meant for Motorola phones. This particular device is restricted to be used by Motorola phones. No matter how hard you try the devices will not pair because they are not compatible.
There are certain blue-tooth devices which are universally acceptable by all types of mobile phones but the MotoRokr T505 as it is dubbed by Motorola is restricted to Motorola phones.
Sorry for any inconveniences.

How do I put the motorola s9 hd wireless headset in pairing mode for a iPhone 3G ?

Starting with your headset turned off, press and hold the power button for some 6 seconds, until the indicator light flashes alternately in blue and red. It is in pairing mode now. Then, make your phone's bluetooth application search for new devices. After a while the S9 should appear on-screen. Make it connect. If a paring code (or PIN, or passkey) is requested, enter '0000' (four zeros). The indicator light will flash some times and enter stand-by mode.
Hope it works for you.

Trying to connect motorola s9hd to the laptop

assuming you have bluetooth installed on your laptop,
1) you have to disable the bluetooth pairing of your s9 with another device that you may have paired with it earlier - like a mobile phone. disconnect previously paired devices first.
2) turn on the bluetooth feature on your pc and ask it to "search" for devices. assuming your s9 is on standby, your pc should be able to "locate" and pair with it assuming the s9 is within an arms length distance from the computer.
3) make sure that the s9 is completely charged to eliminate that power issues as well

Motorola motorokr doesn't work

The mic stopped working on my S9 after 2 weeks and removing the BT device and repairing did the trick...try removing the S9 bluetooth device from phone, then re-adding and pairing again. this worked for me (I have an LG Voyager that I use with the Motorola S9). .
